CIS in support of  Business  Interiors by Staples and  architectural firm Strada & Associates was selected as the prime contractor to retrieve, inventory, and install over (200) workstations of donated Haworth Systems Furniture.

With the historical  charitable efforts of  Goodwill setting the tone,  the CIS , B.I. & Strada   teams sourced furniture from multiple locations throughout the continental  United States.  CIS sent out crews to disassemble workstations, pack trucks , and return product back to Pittsburgh for installation.  The folks at B.I. & Strada  worked diligently on all field dimensions and space planning so that the Haworth furniture would not only look great but that it would also function effectively. With the tremendous logistical support of  Construction Managers ,Burns & Scalo along with Goodwill’s own project staff this installation was not only completed on time but over $250,000 in savings was realized.

Our longtime friend & co-worker Frank Krajack passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 19, 2010. Frank was a highly respected member of the CIS family for over 22 years. A real pro, Frank was one of the absolute best field installers around. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
